One (1) 1099 Senior Online & In-Person Facilitator/Consultants (Contract ... a.k.a. “TopDoggers”)

WHAT'S THE OPPORTUNITY?
TopDog Learning Group, LLC, a learning and development, change management, and diversity and inclusion consulting firm based in downtown Orlando, FL USA—but with clients throughout North America and beyond—is looking for one 1099 Contract Consultants (a.k.a. “TopDogger”) who would lead client-partners’ participants through several virtual and on-site learning experiences/workshops to help them grow as leaders. This is a part-time opportunity at approximately 10-20 hours per month (as applicable) but with the potential to be more in the future. Some of the duties (doodies?) include:

Running 4 4-hour interactive Zoom workshops on effective leadership

Performing 60-minute 1:1 Leadership Coaching sessions with program participants

Executing 8-hour on-site programs on inclusive leadership best practices (on occasion)
Ultimately, we’d like an experienced professional facilitator with a proven track record that can “take the ball and run with it” for these client-facing experiences and represent “The Pack” in a professional, knowledgeable, and engaging manner. And be a rock star AND team player throughout!
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The right “breed of professional” will perform the following duties on behalf of TDLG:
(1) Online Facilitation ... in this role you will:

Provide virtual classroom facilitation for up to 25 individuals ... via our Zoom
Facilitate and consult in an engaging and active format

Be very familiar with all learning content prior to facilitating the first Program. TopDog will make efforts to “upskill” you on the specific content as best as we can, time and resources permitted. This could include shadowing an existing pack member as they deliver their programs (preferred!) or providing training materials and then time for you to learn them on your own (if we have to!)

Provide your own laptop for PowerPoint and access our Zoom and Mural accounts; have a proper camera and microphone for the sessions, proper lighting and background to promote a professional image, and ensure adequate Internet connectivity to effectively run each online Session (we can guide you in this area)

Set up the virtual training space at least 15-30 minutes before each Session

Communicate effectively with fellow TopDoggers supporting you, our Clients, and Participants (as appropriate)

Provide logistics such as attendance sheets, digital materials, etc.

Create an enjoyable learning environment and experience for all
(2) On-site Facilitation ... in this role you will:
-
Provide in-person classroom facilitation for up to 25 individuals
-
Facilitate and consult in an engaging and active format
-
Provide your own laptop for PowerPoint, your own slide advance method (“clicker”) for the in-person sessions. Client is responsible for other materials (don’t worry: we’ll work with you on these details)

Be very familiar with all learning content prior to facilitating the first Program. TopDog will make efforts to “upskill” you on the specific content as best as we can, time and resources permitted. This could include shadowing an existing pack member as they deliver their programs (preferred!) or providing training materials and then time for you to learn them on your own (if we have to!)

Set up the training space at least 30 minutes before each Session

Communicate effectively with fellow TopDoggers supporting you, our Clients, and Participants (as appropriate)

Provide logistics such as attendance sheets, digital materials, etc.

Ensuring materials are received on-site via approved shipping method and ensure they are return shipped back to the designated site (as applicable)

Inform Client directly via email when a Participant does not show up for a Session

Create an enjoyable learning environment and experience for all
(3) 1:1 Leadership Coaching ... in this role you will:
-
Provide 60-minute (or applicable) 1:1 Leadership Coaching to program Participants via Zoom or other communication tools
-
During these conversations you’ll take a “coaching mindset” (don’t worry: we’ll coach you on what that means if you don’t already know)

Coordinate logistics for scheduling these sessions via program sign-up sheet or online scheduling application of your choosing; may be asked to provide list of coaching sessions by client as needed

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The idea candidate (a.k.a. new member of our “pack”) will:
-
Possess at least 15 years’ experience in professional facilitation, focused on leadership and diversity and inclusion ... and REALLY comfy facilitating D&I topics!

Have five plus years of leadership experience in a corporate / large workplace setting (preferred)
-
Have an engaging online and in-person presence
-
Possess rock star oral and written communication skills
-
Have fantastic organization skills
-
Be professional and represent TDLG well to the outside world
-
Be a self-starter and able to take initiative on projects and assignments
-
Be proficient with learner-centric online delivery tools; we specifically use
Zoom and
Mural in all our online programs
-
Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
-
While onsite, be able to act as onsite project manager and interface with hotel staff (if appropriate) and those coordinating logistics for onsite events
-
Like dogs (non-negotiable)!
